Already April-ish, 5.25
Oh, wait, April is over… Well, I’m close to a monthly update.
It’s been busy and productive. I’ve pushed some longer hours on my normal contract and have also wrapped up one project and kicked off another for other clients. Some carving to keep a bit of balance and a variety of work. So, without much more more preamble, here’s some pics and random-ish pics.
We hosted Beth’s mom, sister, brother-in-law and the nieces for Easter dinner (HIR:HIRI). Baked chicken parm, pasta and salad. Filled our little house with joy. Gabby had a blast and was utterly gassed for the next two days, lol.
I submitted a photo to Chip Chats, a national woodcarving magazine and they posted it. Yay!
It was an honor to help two former co-workers with their Amazon launch and build a robust kit of product and theme photography along with art direction/design and copy. Just a small sampling of the work teased here. It was a real pleasure to light the way for their product and brand imagery. Wish you two the best, and FTR.
And there’s been a bit of woodcarving along the way. I’m headed to the Rocky Mountain Woodcarvers Roundup in UT in a few weeks again so May’s update will have quite a bit from that.
Above: Snaps for future rememberings - new non-tactical backpack from Evergoods in waxed canvas (I paid retail!!!), a no-photography selfie, coffee in downtown Long Beach, after-hours client photo teaser, and a current workspace snaption showing a new ‘clicky’ keyboard, ergo mouse and new controllers - all from Logitech. (How self/work-involved am I? Sheesh…) Anyway, how about an ‘ussie’ with Beth and I to close this entry out.
