Cathedral Valley, 06.15
Knowing that I was going to be in Northern Utah for a work photoshoot I planned some vacation days after that shoot to hit a couple spots in Southern Utah. Namely Cathedral Valley and also secured a permit for the White Rim Road. This was my third time through Cathedral, it is a great drive, relatively mild 4×4 road (there was a family in a Subaru Outback in the camp site). Its about a 60 mile loop located inside Capitol Reef National Park (one of my favorites). Here’s a few highlights showing how dramatically the lighting changes, this time of the year was great for sunrise and sunset photos.
The view overlooking Cathedral Valley at sunset. That is an amazing little dirt track through the heart of the valley.
